Bakul Foundation’s mission is to mobilize thousands for change. One of the major arenas that cries out for change today is the way we treat the environment. To be changemakers, we need to be sensitized ourselves. Bakul has been organizing film screenings and discussions towards creating sensitive citizens, who hopefully will take the initiative to bring about the change we want in this world.

Bakul Foundation in association with Toxics Link, a Delhi based environmental NGO is organizing Quotes from the Earth: A Film Festival on the Environment on April 19-20, 2008 at IDCOL Auditorium, Bhubaneswar (Near the Indira Gandhi Park) as part of that agenda. Quotes from the Earth brings together a multitude of voices and views on environment from across the globe. Equity and justice for all, is the unifying thread.
